Is Cannabis provided on the tour?

Cannanaskis isn’t licenced to produce or sell Cannabis, however we start the tour with a visit to FivePoint Cannabis so you can stock up on your favourite strains. They’ve got a full selection of flower, concentrates, edibles and even beverages, as well as Canadian-made glass accessories and art.

Can I bring my own Cannabis?

Yes!. Guests can bring their favourite strains from home, as long as it remains under the 30 gram personal limit.

Can I bring my own pipe or bong?

Of course, we always enjoy seeing cool designs.

What else should I bring?

A positive attitude is always a plus, along with sunscreen, bug spray and a water bottle.

How much does the tour cost?

Do I have to consume Cannabis?

Only if you choose to. There’s no pressure or judgement if you just want to learn.

Is it legal?

Yes. Cannanaskis is commercially licenced and insured. Consumption of Cannabis is legal In Canada for those over age 18 (in Alberta) and falls under the same rules as tobacco in Alberta’s provincial parks.

Can I smoke/vape in the CannaVan?

No.

But you can consume all you like while we’re outside in the mountains!

How long is the tour?

The entire tour takes about five hours, from 10:15 a.m. til about 3:30-4 p.m. It’s dependent on the size and makeup of the group.

How hard is the hike?

The walk to the Secret Smoke Spot takes about 5 minutes and is fairly flat.
The afternoon hiking trail is easy to moderate and takes about 20 minutes to get to the top. Runners are acceptable but some people find hiking boots more comfortable.
